Your writting is so good and so is your art. They complement each other well and at every point of this post I was hoping to see another piece. It's the same childish excitement I had as a kid when I discovered books with random images.
Why did you force yourself not to draw a forest? There absolutely should be a forest! Never too many forests! It's a place of danger, hiding and healing as so many fairy tales tell us, so the man would have fit there perfectly.

Haha. True. But felt I should explore other landscapes too? (Now I seem to have completely given up on drawing backgrounds in this challenge…)
